Timber merchant supplying York

If you’re looking for a reliable timber merchant supplying York and the surrounding areas, our team at Estate Sawmills is here to help. We’ve been supplying timber, fencing and decking materials for over 40 years, working with both trade professionals and DIY customers across North Yorkshire.

Although our sawmill is based in Bradford, we regularly deliver to York. As a working sawmill that manufactures much of what we sell, we stay closely involved with our timber from start to finish. That hands-on approach means you can expect consistent materials and straightforward, practical advice for projects of all sizes.

Fencing supplies in York

All of our timber fence panels are made on site, so they’re ready to go for delivery into York or for collection from our yard. Producing them ourselves also means we can adjust sizes where needed and help make sure everything lines up properly, whether you’re working on a straightforward boundary or something more bespoke.

Alongside our traditional timber fencing, we also supply composite fencing in a range of modern colours and finishes. Composite is a great option for your garden if you’re looking for something with a more contemporary appearance and less ongoing maintenance. In addition to panels, we also stock fence posts, gravel boards and pressure-treated structural timber ideal for fencing frameworks and general external use in and around the garden.

Timber and composite decking in York

If you’re planning a new decking area, we supply a full range of timber decking for garden, landscaping, and commercial projects in York. Our range includes pressure-treated decking boards, joists and fixings designed specifically for outdoor use, along with the structural timber needed for frames and substructures.
We also supply composite decking if you’re after something low-maintenance and built to last, with no need for painting or staining. It offers a long-lasting finish and comes in a range of colours and styles, so it works just as well in modern spaces as it does in more traditional settings.
